Job Summary:

We are hiring an Audiologist to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Norfolk, VA. As an Audiologist with Matrix Providers, you will review pertinent medical history documentation and provide exams that assess hearing loss or tinnitus.

  • Review medical records to identify relevant information
  • Perform Comprehensive audio exams using Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech recognition
About the Opportunity:

This position offers a unique chance to work independently and as part of a team, capturing responses during exams through a web-based form. All documentation will be completed electronically, and completed exams will be sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have an active and unrestricted Audiologist license, a master's or doctorate from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE, or ASHA certification, and an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Hold an active and unrestricted Audiologist license
  • Possess a master's or doctorate from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE, or ASHA certification
  • Certification: Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing situations
  • All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
