We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Recovery Journey Catalyst. This role is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others by providing mentorship, peer support, and resource navigation.

Your Role

As a Recovery Journey Catalyst, you will be placed at an organization serving recovery communities. You will play a vital role in addressing the challenges of substance use disorders and empowering individuals to build healthier lives.

You will work closely with clients to maintain their progress in recovery, drawing on your own experience to provide guidance and support. You will also assist clients in navigating social service resources and programs, while participating in skill-based training and professional development throughout the year.

Requirements

  • In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
  • Dependable and have a history of good attendance.
  • Able to understand and follow instructions.
  • Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed-upon hours commitment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet searches, data entry, email communication (with attachments), databases, and software use, and videoconferencing.
  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
  • Able to successfully complete a background check.

Perks Package

  • A paycheck (stipend) every two weeks.
  • Federal Benefits include: up to $6895.00 in Education Award, Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, federal student loan forbearance, and interest repayment, and time accrual toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
  • Program Specific Benefits by hours commitment per week: 40 hours – $1200 stipend paid every two weeks, individual health insurance, and child care assistance; 25 hours – $725 stipend paid every two weeks.

Estimated Salary: $15.69 - $20.46 per hour ($32,000 - $42,400 per year)
