Phlebotomy Specialist II

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist II to join our team at Bayone. As a key member of our patient services team, you will be responsible for collecting quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner
Prepare specimens for lab testing
Maintain a safe and professional environment
Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture
Maintain required records and documentation

Requirements:
3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
