Emergency Mental Health Clinician

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Emergency Mental Health Clinician to provide high-quality healthcare to patients in Oregon City, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our members while working in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's level degree or higher in a related field, with two years of clinical experience and licensure as a Psychologist in Oregon. They will have thorough knowledge of suicide risk assessment, safety planning, and therapeutic crisis intervention, as well as strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through directly assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who present to the Emergency Room with mental health needs and co-occurring chemical dependency disorders. You will also participate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, prioritize and manage crisis interventions for at-risk patients, and document face-to-face assessments and care in patients' permanent records in accordance with accepted medical and legal standards.
