We are seeking a highly skilled Master Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at US Foods, Inc.
Job OverviewThe Senior Fleet Mechanic role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment while performing preventative maintenance. This critical position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside a valid Class-A CDL license and extensive hands-on mechanical experience.
About the Role- Perform complex repairs on heavy-duty commercial diesel equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Detect and diagnose issues using technical expertise and diagnostic tools.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently.

RequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
- A valid Class-A CDL license
- 7+ years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
