Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients in our outpatient rehabilitation setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide speech and language therapy to patients, including articulation, language, and cognitive-communication skills
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure in the state of Iowa
  • Experience working with pediatric patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
