Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Trusted Medical LLC. This part-time per diem position offers a unique opportunity to work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, conducting assessments for disability benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing face-to-face clinical assessments of veterans, providing assessment documentation, and collaborating with physicians to complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). This role requires excellent assessment skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of working independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities
  1. Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient handling and care during all interactions, ensuring a high level of compassion and empathy towards this unique population.
  2. Documentation: Complete and submit all required documentation timely and completely, including DBQs in the required format, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Collaboration: Participate in all work activities, share perspectives, and contribute to meetings, fostering effective teamwork and communication.
  4. Opportunity Development: Identify and develop new opportunities to create value for clients, exploring secondary service offerings and supporting primary assignments.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Experience working with the veteran population and federal healthcare clients/organizations is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, Electronic Health Records, and patient experience solutions.
Benefits and Salary

This part-time per diem position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans.
