Nurse Care Specialist

As a Post Anesthesia Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit. Your role will involve monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and offering support during the post-anesthesia period. You will work closely with the anesthesia providers and surgical team to ensure a smooth transition from surgery to recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
Monitor vital signs, assess patients' conditions, and manage pain and discomfort
Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgical team to ensure smooth transition from surgery to recovery
Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and potential complications
Requirements
Current RN license
BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
2 years of recent PACU nursing experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
