Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms at the Qavartarvik Customer Lodge in Bethel, AK. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring a positive experience during their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality service to customers at all times.
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to a vacant ready status or an occupied clean status.
  • Replenish guest supplies and amenities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and storage areas.
  • Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance Department.
  • Assist in maintaining other areas of the hotel in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Respond to customer requests and inquiries promptly.
  • Meet or exceed a 90% or above rating as a self-inspector.
  • Participate in the general cleaning and carpet care program.
  • Wear proper uniform at all times.
  • Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and callouts.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED, six months of hospitality industry or related experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Constantly required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to lift.
  • Rarely required to push and pull.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
