About the Role

Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in our medical/surgical unit.

This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical unit, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans, ensuring timely interventions and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to share expertise, improve patient flow, and enhance overall care delivery.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families on surgeries, post-treatment recovery, and disease prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and adapt to changing patient needs, environments, and priorities.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $105,000 - $135,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes professional development opportunities, paid time off, and a supportive work environment that values employee well-being and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • A valid Active RN License.
  • Experience in medical/surgical nursing, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and other relevant software systems.
