TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Trauma Surgical Unit. As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers, and advocating for patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take action in the event of an unintended response.

Qualifications:

  • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
  • Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • BLS required, and must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
