Job Summary

Beneath the surface of a global leader in industrial and IT enclosures, a Field Service Technician is sought to provide hands-on support for climate control product installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in air conditioner repair and EPA certification for refrigerant recovery and servicing of CFC-based units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site customer support for climate control product installation, planned maintenance, repair, and service training.
  • Complete required service reports and communicate with relevant personnel.
  • Communicate and coordinate field service activities with customers and local company sales personnel.
  • Provide telephone technical support to customers and service partners.
  • Promote Service Contracts through customer interaction and communication.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in air conditioner repair and EPA certification for refrigerant recovery and servicing of CFC-based units.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience using electrical meters and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in repairing industrial recirculating chillers is preferred.
  • Previous field service experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook/Email, Excel, and Word.
