About the RoleAs a Caregiver for Individuals with Autism, you will work directly with children in their homes, providing caregiving and skill teaching services to help them achieve their goals. You will work with individuals of various ages and help them develop life skills, communication, and positive behavior.
Responsibilities- Provide caregiving and skill teaching services to individuals with autism
- Work with children in their homes, helping them develop life skills, communication, and positive behavior
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans
- Provide support and guidance to individuals with autism, helping them to achieve their goals
- Minimum 18 years old
- At least 3 months of caregiving experience, formal or informal
- Experience with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus but not required
- Criminal history check and Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- CPR, First Aid, and other certifications required
- Ability to provide own transportation to client homes
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- Virtual interviewing, onboarding, and training available
- Flexible scheduling (10-15 hours per week or more depending on availability)
