About the Role:
On With Life's Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Program is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our person-centered, challenging, and rewarding team.
This full-time position works Monday-Friday between the hours of 8a-5p, approximately 40 hours per week, with occasional slight variations to meet unique scheduling needs.
You may have the opportunity to travel to other On With Life clinic locations.
We offer annual raises based on budget capacity, and you also have the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at your anniversary.
This full-time position is eligible for subsidized health and dental insurance, vision insurance, free life and long-term disability insurance, a 401k match, PTO and long-term sick pay, and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with brain injuries or other neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functionality.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- An Iowa Occupational Therapist (OTR) license.
- Two-to-three years of clinical experience in rehabilitation of persons with brain injury or other neurological disorders.
- Willingness to obtain further certification as needed in the clinic (i.e. LSVT BIG).
- Ability to maintain CPR certification.
About On With Life:
We are a not-for-profit organization founded by survivors and their families, and each person served is a new member of that family.
We are an evolving Outpatient Neuro program that continues to grow in size and in the multitude of diagnoses we serve, including CVA, Parkinson's, Post-Concussive Syndrome, Post Covid, Brain Tumor, GBM, Movement Disorders, and Complex Neuro.
