About this role:

We seek a skilled Nurse Educator (Nursing Practice and Professional Development Specialist) to provide professional development and education to assist staff in preparing for contemporary practice. This role will facilitate bridging the gap between research and evidence-based practice, ensuring quality and safe patient care. You will participate in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activities associated with comprehensive unit-based and hospital-wide nursing educational needs.

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the District of Columbia, including certification and CNS license
  • Master's degree in nursing or related discipline preferred, with board-certification within specialty preferred or acquired within 9 months of employment
