Transload Operator

At Pilot Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transload Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transloading of material from railcar to truck.

• Load bulk OTR trucks with product using facility equipment, including stationary and mobile conveyors and other loading equipment.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, the transloading team, and the corporate office to ensure seamless operations.
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Enter and maintain inventory and activity data into the appropriate system.
• Prepare and forward reports to the corporate office as needed.
• Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Receive and inventory incoming parts and supplies, coordinate packing slips with purchase orders.
• Perform duties safely and responsibly while observing all safety and health rules.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and JSA's, and interface with relief operators for updates, instructions, and changes.
• Proactively maintain good housekeeping practices and preventive maintenance practices on equipment.
• Participate in general training, job-specific training, and hazardous materials training as required.

Requirements:

• Wear required protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, and safety glasses.
