Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our Family Advocacy Program, you will provide critical support and services to victims of domestic abuse, promoting their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 response to victims of domestic abuse, offering confidential and non-clinical emergent and urgent services.
- Establish and maintain safety plans for victims, working closely with treatment managers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Family Advocacy Treatment Manager and other team members to ensure comprehensive support for victims.
- Develop and maintain contact files for each victim, containing essential information and a log of services provided.
- Communicate effectively with victims, treatment managers, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and promote victim safety.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Minimum two years of experience in assisting and providing advocacy services to victims of domestic abuse or sexual assault.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Advocate credential with designation of Comprehensive Intervention Specialist.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support certification.
