Consumer Lending Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Lending Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Consumer Lending Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing loan applications, and maintaining accurate records.

• Originate consumer, home equity, and small business loan applications by phone
• Process loan applications submitted through our online channel within established timeframes
• Manage high production volumes in a fast-paced environment
• Open new accounts, including share, share draft, Christmas Club, secondary accounts, and Money Market
• Advocate for members and communicate loan options, rates, terms, and stipulations
• Conduct outbound calls to communicate lending decisions and discuss credit enhancement tips
• Read and interpret income verification, credit reports, and collateral values
• Assist members with inquiries and provide general information about our credit union and loan policies
• Meet or exceed department and individual sales and production goals

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of similar or related experience required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under general supervision and prioritize tasks
• Regular and reliable attendance required
