Job Title: Business Development Center Associate

At Automotive Career Professionals, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Center Associate to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to generate appointments for automotive prospects contacting our dealership through phone, Internet lead submission, and chat features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls generated from dealer websites and other sources of advertising.
  • Respond to all incoming Internet leads with email and phone calls.
  • Follow up with all prospects until contact is made.
  • Set appointments for sales and service prospects and customers.
  • Communicate with all no-show appointments and reschedule.
  • Track all activity in the CRM (Customer Relations Management) Tool.
  • Keep all prospect and customer records up to date and accurate.
  • Communicate all appointment activity with appropriate managers and salespeople.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, great communicator (written and verbal), results-oriented, positive outlook, clear focus, forward planner, mature, reliable, a team player, and ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
  • Basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, understanding of customer databases, the Internet, chat, and email.
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone, email, and chat. Ideal background includes working in a call center environment, experience with appointment setting, and experience maintaining a book of business.
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred, 2-4 years of phone experience a plus.
