Vascular Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technician to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately complete assignments within scheduled time periods, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
- Communicate pertinent patient information and actual or potential problems to the healthcare team, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
- Cooperate with reassignments and adapt to changing patient needs, ensuring adequate staffing and maintaining a positive team dynamic.
- Provide safe and direct patient care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures.
- Assist with preparing patients for procedures, gathering supplies and equipment, and maintaining aseptic technique.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and contributing to the development of best practices.
- Exercise calm behavior and utilize appropriate judgment during emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- Experience in arterial duplex, ABI/PVR, carotid, venous, venous insufficiency, abdominal aorta, and renal ultrasounds.
- Ability to perform general sonography.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
- A minimum of two (2) years of vascular ultrasound experience.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
- ARDMS-RVT certification or eligibility to obtain.
