Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other therapeutic medications.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic.
  • Facilitate dose adjustments by evaluating patient conditions and lab results, consulting treatment protocols, calculating dosages, and collaborating with physicians regarding modifications and symptom management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete nursing charges on billing tickets.
  • Serve as a resource for Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Manage patient phone inquiries as necessary and document relevant information in patient records.
  • Assess patient and family needs, providing educational materials and community resource information.
  • Participate in cross-training within collaborative nursing areas as opportunities arise.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current licensure and registration in Minnesota required.
  • Current or pending OCN certification preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience with IV administration preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications is necessary.
