Job Summary

As a Chemical Operations Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in protecting the nation from chemical and biological threats. This position requires expertise in handling and operating nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) detection and decontamination equipment. You will work closely with civilian personnel to develop and implement disaster plans, ensuring the safety of communities and the nation as a whole.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision on CBRN equipment and operations
• Operate and maintain smoke generating equipment
• Coordinate with civilian personnel on emergency response plans

Requirements

• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must be a U.S. citizen
