Job Overview

This role involves coordinating with The Hobbs brand, support groups, and product partners to communicate pricing and functional deliverables of represented products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Hobbs & Associates' products and solutions.
  • BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH PRODUCT REPRESENTATIVES, HOBBS & ASSOCIATES LEADERSHIP, AND EMPLOYEE TEAMS.
  • CULTIVATE PARTNERSHIPS WITH SALESPEOPLE AND CUSTOMERS TO IDENTIFY AND CREATE HIGH-VALUE DELIVERABLES.
  • MANAGE TECHNICAL QUESTIONS AND COMMUNICATE ACCURATE AND TIMELY CLIENT RESPONSES.
  • PERFORM FACILITY WALKTHROUGHS AS REQUIRED.
  • INTERPRET CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS TO UNDERSTAND PROJECT CONSTRAINTS ON PRODUCT APPLICATIONS.
  • PREPARE SYSTEM LAYOUT AS NEEDED.
  • GENERATE TIMELY AND ACCURATE PRODUCT ESTIMATES AND CLIENT PROPOSALS.
  • REVIEW PROPOSALS WITH SALESPEOPLE AND CUSTOMERS.
  • PROVIDE BEST-IN-CLASS AND ON-TIME PROJECT FULFILMENT SUPPORT FOR ALL PRODUCTS SOLD.
  • COORDINATE AND DELIVER PRODUCT SUBMITTALS.
  • COMMUNICATE RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH DEVELOPMENT OF AN APPROVED SUBMITTAL.
  • CHAMPION EQUIPMENT ORDERS AND SCHEDULE COORDINATION.
  • FOLLOW THROUGH OF PRODUCT CHANGE REQUIREMENTS THROUGHOUT THE FULFILMENT PROCESS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field (preferred).
  • EXCELLENT ORAL/WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  • EXCELLENT CUSTOMER RELATIONS SKILLS.
  • Able to travel within a locally defined region at least 10% of the time.
  • Ability to function independently with EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS TO MEET PROJECT DEADLINES, INCLUDING PROJECT BID AND SUBMITTAL SCHEDULES.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, flexible spending account, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and vision insurance.

Work Environment

This role requires occasional travel within a locally defined region. The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
