Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for operating high-tech imaging equipment to capture critical diagnostic images.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time night shift position working 36 hours per week, with three consecutive nights in a row. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in CT scanning, with a strong background in trauma and acute care settings.
About the RoleYou will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that every interaction is compassionate and personalized. Your expertise will be crucial in capturing high-quality images, which will inform diagnosis and treatment plans for our patients.
Responsibilities- Operate GE Revolution CT and GE Discovery HD CT scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Provide excellent patient care, addressing concerns and answering questions in a clear and empathetic manner
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines
- 3+ years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a trauma or acute care setting
- ARRT certification and Maine State Professional License
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex medical information to patients and colleagues
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, you can expect:
