Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ICONMA, LLC in Fayetteville, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Providing all aspects and modalities of respiratory care to patients according to department guidelines
  • Responding to resuscitation situations and other respiratory emergencies when needed
  • Maintaining and completing accurate documentation in patients' charts and departmental records
  • Performing as charge therapist when necessary

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • BCLS certification by the American Heart Association
  • An understanding of medical terminology and current respiratory care modalities
  • The ability to react calmly and maintain composure in stressful situations and when dealing with co-workers, patients, and hospital guests
  • Knowledge of the psychosocial and physiological development and spiritual needs of infants, children, adolescents, and all adult age groups (per Erickson's Model)
  • Manual dexterity to operate and assemble equipment, visual acuity, ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, and ability to position and move patients
