Radiology Technologist Full Time Days

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Royal Oak Hospital. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring good clinical skills and providing the best possible images for interpretation.
- Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations, assuming responsibility for designated areas and providing clinical instruction as appropriate.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, utilizing strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise and advance patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
