Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in the Kennesaw area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in quality assurance.

Schedule and Pay

The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-2am, Monday-Thursday. The pay rate is $18-23 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products visually and dimensionally using various measuring instruments, including gauges, scales, calipers, rulers, protractors, and squares, according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Segregate non-conforming products or materials.
  • Review material test reports, certificates of compliance, and lab test results against specifications and requirements.
  • Maintain calibration and verification records for measuring tools.
  • Complete required documentation for work performed.
  • Enter data into databases as required.
  • Reconcile outgoing shipments, as necessary.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write English proficiently, with strong technical communication skills and basic math problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Basic proficiency in using measuring instruments for product inspection (combination square, tape measure, scales, gauges, calipers, protractors, etc.).
  • Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
Estimated Salary Range

$18-$23 per hour, depending on experience.
