Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate RN to provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. As an Outpatient Dialysis Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and promoting patient education and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care plans, assessing and addressing physical, emotional, and social needs of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, adjusting as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians or approved algorithms.
  • Identify and address potential safety risks, reporting concerns to supervisors and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, medication administration, lab results, and other relevant data.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; current state licensure and CPR certification essential.
  • Minimum 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in nephrology or acute care settings.
  • Experience with hemodialysis treatment and CAP (Clinical Advancement Program) protocols beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
