Job Summary

The Assistant Manager (AM) plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our restaurant by supporting the Restaurant General Manager in managing daily operations. This includes overseeing financial controls, operations, people development, guest service, and compliance across shifts to achieve desired restaurant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise team members and shift supervisors to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain a clean and efficient environment.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Assist the Restaurant General Manager in enforcing compliance with government regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain effective team talent by making decisions or recommendations on hiring and advancement.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on providing excellent guest service and maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with some college preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience working in the quick service restaurant industry.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, as well as occasional crawling and climbing. The employee must be able to lift/move 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to video terminal displays and occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
