We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Care Specialist to join our team at NavitsPartners.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents in long-term care facilities. As a valued member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of our residents, adhering to infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
  • Offer psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents, promoting their overall well-being and dignity.
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate, and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed, and document resident interactions as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • One year of nursing home experience required.
  • Graduate of an approved CNA program and certified as a CNA.
  • AHA BLS certification and primary source verification required.
  • Med/Surg experience preferred.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
