Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist

At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fleet maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our diesel equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel mechanics, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise will enable you to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and reefers.
As a Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will work independently and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure will be essential in meeting our high standards of safety and quality.
We offer a competitive salary of $26.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance coverage. Eligible new hires will also receive a retention bonus of $5,000.
Our schedule is Sunday to Friday, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, allowing for a good work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, managing multiple functions simultaneously and adapting to changing operational needs.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong technical background, with knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also essential, as you will work closely with colleagues and drivers to ensure seamless operations.
