Lead Supply Chain Strategist for City Infrastructure

The Office of the Facility Rear Deputy Chiefs, a mission-driven and dynamic oversight arm to the City's President's Office of Infrastructure, is seeking a seasoned leader to join their team as a Lead Supply Chain Strategist in Knoxville, Tennessee.
About the Role:
- This position involves anticipating problems and utilizing alternative solutions if necessary;
- Analyzing complex issues and adopting quick, effective, and reasonable solutions;
- Leading teams effectively and promoting harmony and cooperation with other departments;
- Making efficient use of major resources such as staff, money, equipment, apparatus, and technology;
- Using influence and power constructively and appropriately;
- Accepting responsibility for activities of subordinates;
- Being open to constructive criticism;
- Creatings an atmosphere that encourages others to participate in problem-solving, creative thinking, and strategic planning;
- Leading strategic planning, performance management & supportive functions for Inventory/Supply Leaders and Chiefs of the City State.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously developing and refining processes to ensure operation efficiency;
- Ensuring adequate daily logs and implementing process improvements;
- BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS TO ENSURE THAT ALL PERSONNEL FOLLOW ORGANIZATIONAL OPERATING PROCEDURES AND PROCESS;
- Providing clear direction and drive groups towards strong results;
- Critical thinking and adapting quickly to address gaps in processes and procedures to mitigate risks;
- Developing and refining processes to ensure operational efficiency;
- Overseeing the implementation of strategic projects and supporting problem-solving and cross-divisional coordination.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of pertinent experience in leadership capacity, preferably in the relevant industry;
- MUST have a bachelor's degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management;
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations/protocols;
- Ability to handle monies, equipment, apparatus, technology, and oversight of staff employees;
- Familiarity with the City State's infrastructure and policies.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.
