About the Job:

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for delivering high-quality speech therapy care and services to residents. This role involves providing direct care, consultation, evaluation, and assessment of residents as needed, and implementing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed in the state of practice. Additionally, they should have competence in speech language and swallowing evaluation and treatment, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents with physician-ordered evaluations and treatments.
  • Consult with residents, their families, and healthcare providers to develop treatment plans.
  • Assess residents' speech and language abilities and develop strategies to improve communication skills.
  • Implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Participate in patient care planning and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
