Role OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the academic success and personal development of our students, particularly those from underserved black and brown communities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement engaging Social Studies curricula that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Utilize data-driven instruction to drive student learning and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with coaches and peers to share best practices and build a strong adult culture
- Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices
- Unwavering commitment to the academic success and personal development of students
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in working with computers and commonly used software
- Valid teaching license/certification or active pathway to acquire one
BRICK Education Network offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $50,000 - $100,000 per year, as well as fringe benefits such as retirement, health, vision, and dental coverage.
