Fabrication Shop Laborer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Shop Laborer to join our team at Spirax-Sarco Engineering. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our fabrication shop.

• Paint Preparation and Application: Prepare and paint finished products to meet company standards, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient production process.
• Quality Control: Inspect painted products to verify conformance to company standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
• Efficiency and Productivity: Meet target efficiency levels by maintaining a proper workflow cadence, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate hydro pressure testing equipment, troubleshoot and maintain paint booth equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Material Handling: Move materials throughout the plant, ensuring safe and efficient transportation and storage.
• Machine Operation: Operate a forklift, name plate printer machine, and other equipment as required.
• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Soft Skills: Ability to follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and apply common sense understanding to carry out work instructions.
