Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wildlife Management Specialist to join our team in San Jose. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving nuisance wildlife and pest issues, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding our company values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call customers to schedule appointments and manage routes in advance
  • Conduct inspections and cleaning tasks
  • Perform repairs, re-inspections, and upsell opportunities
  • Trap checks and take high-resolution photos
  • Document findings and detailed notes
  • Take and pass all safety training and follow Cal/OSHA regulations
  • Maintain truck and notify supervisor of needed service
  • Identify wildlife species, capture, and removal in urban and suburban settings
  • Work on roofs, attics, and crawlspaces
  • Perform duties in various weather conditions throughout the year
  • Perform basic repair work using hand tools and power tools
  • Formulate and implement management plans based on biological principles and integrated wildlife damage management strategies

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Prior industry experience of 1-2+ years (preferred)
  • Able to take and pass the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Trapping Exam
  • Able to take and pass all safety training and the Critter Control Certified Wildlife Specialist Exam
  • Familiarity with the local area
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Pass a drug screen and criminal background check
  • Pass an employment physical and be medically cleared to wear a respirator
  • Authorized to work in the US and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
