We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health Blakeney Family Physicians.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assisting the provider to ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective service and care for patients within the practice population. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist the provider with patient care activities, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement effective workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) must be obtained by the last day of the six-month probationary period.
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA required.
