We're looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team at Alfa Laval. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects on time, following specifications and according to budget. You will have the authority to make decisions and manage allocated resources, while also ensuring effective stakeholder management through communication, presentation, and periodic reporting to the steering committee.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Quotation: involvement in project quotation to support Bid Engineering with risk analysis and cost and lead-time estimation.
  • Project Initiation: secure project registration & documentation, review contract, secure handover from sales.
  • Project Planning: in a collaborative manner with the internal teams, facilitate contract review by project team, facilitate internal project kick off meeting, facilitate technical review with internal team, technical clarifications with sales/customer.
  • Project Execution: call and facilitate project kick off meeting with customer, if the meeting is not called or facilitated by the customer.
  • Project Closure: call and facilitate project closure meeting with customer. Facilitate internal project closure with teams and handoff to service.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital equipment project management. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) is also required. Proficient with program, project, and quality management methodologies, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project or equivalent project management.
