Job Summary:This is a dynamic role that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure safe and effective anesthesia administration.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
- 1+ years' experience in a hospital setting, preferably in the Operating Room.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
