Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The Quality Engineer II at Avantor is responsible for driving quality assurance programs and initiatives at a chemical manufacturing facility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including cGMPs, ICHQ7, IPEC guidelines, ISO regulations, and FDA requirements.
- Manage audit activities, including GMP, regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
- Drive improvements in quality management systems through process optimization and implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve quality issues and support overall site performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or a related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality engineering or a related role required.
- Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or chemical environments required.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through others.
- Familiarity with chemical nomenclature and Quality Control testing and methods.
