Personal Lines Account Manager

Shepherd Insurance is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for assisting insurance advisors in handling and processing new and renewal personal lines business.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in marketing new and renewal business, evaluating premiums, preparing proposals, and maintaining underwriting and marketing information.
- Collaborate with advisors to cross-sell and account round, identifying opportunities to expand and maintain existing relationships.
- Manage suspense systems to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, and reports, ensuring timely completion and resolution of tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team and the growth of our organization.
- At least two years' experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of personal lines insurance coverages, forms, procedures, and policy rating systems.
- Required state licensing certification and a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, with a college degree preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office products and agency & document managing systems.
