A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. This includes daily servicing of guest rooms, stocking carts with supplies, and replenishing guest room amenities while following company standards and safety procedures.
This role may also involve conducting deep cleaning activities within guest rooms in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms per shift.
- Complete pre-cleaning duties, including setting up housekeeping carts and removing trash and dirty linen.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
