Cyber Security Identity Access Management Professional

KORE1 Technologies is a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, offering a unique opportunity for a highly skilled Cyber Security Identity Access Management Professional in Ventura County. As part of our Cyber Security Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of identity access processes across the city's infrastructure services.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Networks and Network Architecture, supporting the citywide infrastructure access management security. You will work closely with Infrastructure, Solutions Delivery, and Business Engagement teams to ensure data protection and privacy regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain IAM Systems: Ensure the authentication, authorization, and auditing of client and user access to the organization's Services.
- Identity Operations: Focus on IAM and PAM, ensuring secure and efficient management of identity access processes.
- Active Directory Management: Oversee user authentication and authorization.
- Implement SSO and MFA: Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and other access control mechanisms.
- Solutions for Information Protection: Ensure that solutions protect information resources against unauthorized use, inappropriate degrees of access, disclosure, damage, and/or loss.
- Integration with Existing Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
- Security Audits and Compliance: Collaborate with the Cyber Security team to perform security audits and ensure local government best practices and standards including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, NIST, and ISO 20007.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, and a package that includes excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in IAM tools such as OKTA, Sailpoint, and MIM, and cloud-based solutions like Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM, and OKTA Identity Cloud.
- Active Directory Skills: Ability to manage AD services, organizing city resources in a secure environment, managing domain controllers, user accounts, and Group Policy objects.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, Access and Identity Auditing, Encryption, and Data Protection.
- IT Asset Management: Experience with ITAM Security and a deep understanding of protecting an organization's IT assets.
- Compliance and Governance: Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and other relevant regulations.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field is required. CIAM, Sailpoint Certification, or similar, is highly preferred.
