Job Summary

This LPN position involves performing procedures requiring specialized training for general nursing care and related services for assigned patients. You will work under the direction of a RN or MD, participating in planning and provision of patient care. Key responsibilities include using knowledge of asepsis in treatments, such as sterile dressings, and providing functional direction to ancillary personnel.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school education or equivalent
  • A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
  • Valid Driver's License and must be at least 21 years of age

Essential Functions

Your key responsibilities as an LPN will include:

  • Providing care for assigned patients under RN supervision
  • Performing admission assessments and ongoing re-assessments based on departmental policies
  • Implementing individual teaching plans and discharge plans based on mutual goal setting
  • Administering medications and ordering/restocking supplies according to established par levels

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this LPN position is approximately $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
