About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Central Region. As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and functional support focused on achieving IPS Annual Operating Plan growth and operating objectives.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Technical Support: Collaborate with customers, repair shops, and field service activities to resolve electrical issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Leading Redesign Projects: Develop and deploy technologies that advance the strategic vision and mission of IPS, including redesign projects for various motor types.
  • Coil Design and Insulation Systems: Review and approve coil designs and insulation systems to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
  • Quality Improvement Actions: Assist in the implementation of quality improvement actions to enhance equipment and process reliability.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven experience working with AC Motors and/or Generators, with knowledge of AC & DC insulation systems, coil design, and flux calculations.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and senior management.
