Materials Engineer

Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a highly skilled Materials and Processes Engineer to join our team in the design and development of hardware for human spaceflight. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for advising on materials and processes requirements for intravehicular and extravehicular environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on materials and processes requirements for spaceflight hardware, including materials selection, process control, and qualification.
- Provide input to program/project specifications and ensure appropriate materials requirements are incorporated.
- Review project/program documentation and specifications to ensure NASA standards are met.
- Perform trade studies for technical solutions and assess vendor processes.
- Provide manufacturing process support for human spaceflight systems.
Requirements:
- B.S in Engineering, Math, or Science.
- 0-7 years of experience in material and process engineering.
- Knowledge of NASA standards and material data requirements for spaceflight hardware.
- Demonstrable mastery/success of materials and process engineering.
