Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support our team in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and be able to work effectively with speech-language pathologists to enhance student communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising SLP in providing speech and language therapy to students.
  • Implement treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions according to the SLP's guidance.
  • Document student progress and report updates to the supervising SLP.
  • Create a positive and engaging environment to foster student success.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • Valid SLPA license in the state of employment.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
