Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Lead Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Lead Teacher in our 3K and 4K classrooms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
  • Monitor and assess each child's development and provide individualized support as needed
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques
  • Ability to provide first aid and respond to emergencies
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
