Job SummaryThe Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Dean's Office, BSN program, and ADN program. This includes preparing communication, surveys, and formal documents, as well as maintaining faculty teaching and clinical schedules.
About the RoleThis role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The position reports to the Executive Director of the School of Nursing/Associate Dean of the College of Health, Education, and Human Sciences.
Responsibilities- Provides clerical support to the School of Nursing administration and faculty, including preparing communication, surveys, and formal documents.
- Maintains faculty teaching and clinical schedules.
- Prepares annual accreditation reports for state and national accrediting agencies.
- Maintains select outcome data, including exam pass rates and graduation rates.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of two years of specialized training or experience in the clerical or secretarial field. An A.A.S. degree in office administration or a related field is preferred.
What We OfferThe University of Arkansas System offers a competitive salary of $29,839 per year, as well as a range of benefits, including health, dental, and life insurance. We also offer tuition waivers for employees and their families, 12 official holidays, immediate leave accrual, and a choice of retirement programs with university contributions ranging from 5 to 10 percent of employee salary.
