Neurology Specialist

The Department of Neurology at Virginia Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist to join our team. As a General Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing state-of-the-art comprehensive patient-centered neurological care for adults. Your expertise will be invaluable in furthering our understanding of disease mechanisms and developing new treatments. Additionally, you will play a key role in training the next generation of neurologists and clinical neuroscientists.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Engage in medical student and neurology resident and fellow education
Participate in clinical research and clinical trials
Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary
Requirements:
MD/DO or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent)
Successful completion of a neurology residency at an accredited institution
Eligibility for licensure in Virginia and board certification or eligible in Neurology (ABPN)
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
